A BABY has died and two ladies and a person have been injured following a horror head-on crash in Leeds.
A 54-year-old man was arrested after the four-month-old boy died yesterday on Horsforth New Street near Rodley, West Yorkshire.
The tragic automotive crash involved a Vauxhall Vivaro van travelling northbound when it was in a head-on fireball collision with a Toyota Auris.
The incident occurred on February 12 at about 4.55pm on the A1620 Ring Street between Calverley and Rodley.
Consequently, a four-month-baby boy was left preventing for his life.
He was then rushed to the hospital where he tragically passed away on Wednesday.
Two ladies from the Toyota and a man from the Vivaro have been also taken to hospital for remedy.& & &
Highway staff needed to absolutely close the street around the area while emergency providers managed the collision.
A 54-year-old male who was driving the Vivaro was arrested on suspicion of inflicting critical damage by harmful driving.
He was launched on bail yesterday as the investigation continues.
Cops at the moment are appealing for witnesses to offer any worthwhile details about the incident.
West Yorkshire Police stated: "Anybody who witnessed the collision, or who has footage that may help this investigation is requested to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Group on 101."
