New Zealand's peak canoe racing body is under fire after the nation's men's sprint team finished almost a minute behind the winners of their races in embarrassing scenes at the Paris Olympics. Max Brown and Grant Clancy were more than 50m behind the field in their events on Tuesday and crossed the line around 50 seconds behind their rivals, who were were coming back to the jetty when the Kiwis were finishing.
