In the midst of a tense battle in the Big XII between Colorado and Texas Tech, one of the children of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders got into an altercation with an opponent. Texas Tech had the ball backed up in their own half with Colorado up 34-27 when Red Raiders quarterback Behren Morton fumbled the ball trying to complete a pass. It was scooped up by Shilo Sanders, one of Deion's three children, who ran it into the end zone for a touchdown to give the Buffaloes their final points of the night to go up 41-27.
