David Coote has made headlines after a video has emerged appearing to show the Premier League referee going on a foul-mouthed rant about Liverpool and their former manager Jurgen Klopp. The footage shared to social media on Monday appears to show the 42-year-old voicing his shocking opinions on the Reds, where he calls Klopp a 'German ****' and states 'Liverpool are all f***ing b******* and we hate Scousers'. The video which has since gone viral, was allegedly recorded back in 2020 after Liverpool's controversial 1-1 draw against Burnley, which saw Andy Robertson angrily confront the English referee after not being awarded a penalty.
