While the Blues are said to be optimistic, a clearer timeline is expected in the coming days regarding the 22-year-old's recovery. Palmer missed Sunday's 1-0 loss at Arsenal, with Enzo Maresca revealing afterwards how his No 10 required a scan on a problem he picked up in training the previous day.
