A crocodile farmer has rubbished concerns that a river, situated in croc country, which is set to host the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympic rowing events may not be up to scratch with international standards. Queensland Premier David Crisafulli confirmed on Tuesday that the Rockhampton stretch of the Fitzroy River, 630km north of Brisbane, would host flatwater racing in 2032. Concerns have been raised by Rowing Australia boss Sarah Cook over the use of the river, with the International Olympic Committee reportedly 'yet to test' the course.
