Deion Sanders revealed how close he got to taking the Dallas Cowboys job after getting linked to the team at the end of the 2024 season. After a 7-10 season resulted in another playoff miss, the Cowboys parted ways with head coach Mike McCarthy. Meanwhile, Sanders wrapped up his second season in charge of the Colorado Buffaloes with a 9-4 finish and an Alamo Bowl appearance. His 2024 season was a drastic turnaround from 2023 when the team limped to a 4-8 finish after going 3-0 to start.
