Jets make major Davante Adams move after axing wide receiver's close friend Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets have made the call to release wide receiver Davante Adams, according to reports. The franchise had reportedly been open to trading the star prior to the start of the league year but just days later it appears the wideout is already following close friend Aaron Rodgers out of the door. Adams' 2025 contract is worth $38.2million, and with the Jets trying to rebuild at several positions, they have seemingly decided the money will be best used elsewhere.
