Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis 'feels horrible' after causing scary Jayson Tatum ankle injury
NBA star Domantas Sabonis issued a groveling apology for his part in Jayson Tatum's horror ankle injury. The Boston Celtics star left Monday's game late in the third quarter against the Sacramento Kings after taking a hard foul from Sabonis and injuring his right ankle. Tatum, who was leading the Celtics in scoring when he got hurt, made a contested 3-pointer and was fouled by the Kings 6-foot-11 center. Tatum's right foot landed on Sabonis' foot and the veteran forward immediately dropped to the floor.
