Aaron Ramsdale remains an option for Thomas Tuchel as the England coach faces up to goalkeeping selection issues ahead of his first squad announcement. Southampton keeper Ramsdale was named in the Euro 2024 party that travelled to Germany, but has missed all three international squads since then — though his omission in November was down to injury. Ramsdale, who has five England caps, has conceded 38 goals in 19 Premier League matches this season.
