Gregor Townsend believes resigning as Scotland head coach 'wouldn't be the right thing to do' - and insists he's still the right man to lead the team forward. Defeat to France in Paris on Saturday night consigned the Dark Blues to their third defeat of the Six Nations and to a fifth fourth-placed finish in the past six years. They have never finished higher than third since the Six Nations began in 2000 and won only two matches in the tournament this year, both at home to strugglers Wales and Italy.
