Rory McIlroy blasted by Masters fans after 'pathetic and childish' snub following round one disaster at Augusta
Rory McIlroy was on the receiving end of criticism for his actions following what was another disappointing first round at the Masters. The Northern Irishman has never won the Green Jacket and needs to do so in order to complete a career Grand Slam. McIlroy turned a promising start into another pedestrian opening round at Augusta as two holes proved to be his undoing. McIlroy was four under par and three shots behind leader Justin Rose when he made double bogey from the middle of the fairway on the par five 15th hole before adding another double two holes later.
