The buzz around JuJu Watkins hasn't slowed down one bit. Even while sitting out to fully recover from that torn ACL, her name is still everywhere.

She isn't eligible for the WNBA draft until 2027, but expansion teams like Houston are already rumoured to be treating her as the undisputed number one pick.

Back on campus at USC, her focus hasn't shifted. She's locked in on her junior year with the Trojans, channeling all her energy into her team, leading from the sidelines, and getting ready to pour everything into her game the second she steps back on the floor.

Despite all the noise about where she'll go in the WNBA draft, JuJu Watkins isn't letting any of it distract her. She shut down the hype pretty fast, making it super clear that while she hears the chatter, her focus is strictly on USC and giving everything she's got to her team right now.

She was asked on USC Athletics : "Your name is all over the place even without you playing. 'She is going to be the number one pick for Houston!' and all of these things."

JuJu responded: "I am very present in where I am at. Of course you hear it, but the WNBA has not been on the forefront of my mind. I am looking to give as much as I can in my senior year to my program and the team and pouring myself into the present."

With the Connecticut Sun relocating to bring back the legendary Houston Comets in 2027, many are speculating that the predicted number one pick will end up there.
