Shrewsbury stopper Toby Savin was denied a dream move to Manchester United after failing two medicals at Old Trafford. United wanted the 23-year-old to become their third choice keeper with 38-year-old Tom Heaton moving into a coaching role and Nathan Bishop having moved to Sunderland last year.
