The British duo suffered a 6-2 6-4 defeat to the American pair despite showing signs of resilience clawing back from a 4-1 deficit in the second set. A win was always going to be a hefty ask against the Americans who have looked strong throughout the Games and it was just that as the pair knocked out Murray and Evans in the men's doubles quarter-finals at Roland Garros.
