Noah Lyles is working with Netflix producers on the storylines for the second series of Sprint. Saturday, though, brought a plot twist in Paris – the world champion was beaten by a student from Sheffield. Yes, it was only the first round of the 100 metres and Lyles still made it safely through to Sunday night's semi-finals. Yet losing to Louie Hinchliffe was not what the American showman would have scripted for his first scene at the Stade de France.
