Southampton agree Aaron Ramsdale fee potentially rising to £25m with Arsenal - as Gunners resume talks over signing replacement goalkeeper from LaLiga

Arsenal will resume talks with Espanyol for goalkeeper Joan Garcia after agreeing to sell Aaron Ramsdale to Southampton. The fee for Ramsdale is £18million, another £1m if Saints stay up and a further £6m in performance-related add-ons. Arsenal have informed Ramsdale that he can leave if the Gunners receive a suitable offer for him. Southampton switched their focus to Ramsdale after a move for Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow collapsed.
