Blackpool appoint Steve Bruce as new manager as former Newcastle and West Brom boss returns to work after two years

Blackpool have announced the appointment of Steve Bruce as their new manager. The 63-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the club with his long-term assistant Steve Agnew joining him. The former Man United defender has been out of a job since being sacked by West Brom in October, 2022. He is one of few coaches to have managed over 1,000 club games, having taken charge of 11 British teams.
