Lions stars Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery came face-to-face with their namesakes on Thanksgiving: Sonic and Knuckles. Before Detroit's game with the Bears on Thursday, Gibbs and Montgomery met mascots of the 1990s video game characters. Twenty-two-year-old running back Gibbs has earned the nickname 'Sonic' for his speed across the turf, while the strength of Montgomery, 27, has prompted fans to christen him 'Knuckles'. Together they have been dubbed Dan Campbell's 'two-headed monster' backfield as the Lions chase a spot in the Super Bowl.
