West Ham invoked concussion protocols as they treated Lukasz Fabianski following the goalkeeper's sickening collision with Southampton defender Nathan Wood on Boxing Day. Fabianski received around eight minutes of treatment in worrying scenes at St Mary's after taking a blow to the head and neck in the first half of their victory over Southampton. And Mail Sport can confirm that the former Arsenal star was treated as a concussion case by medics on the field.
