Chelsea have made an enquiry for long-term target and Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel. The Stamford Bridge club made overtures regarding a move for France Under 21 striker last summer and have followed up their interest with a further enquiry this month. Tel, 19, is viewed as one of the best young forwards in European football and would cost in-excess of £40million. Intriguingly, Bayern are understood to have monitored the situation of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, though as of yet no swap deal has been discussed or offered by the Blues.
