Fenerbahce are increasingly confident of reaching agreement with Aston Villa for defender Diego Carlos. Mail Sport reported on Monday how Jose Mourinho's side were hoping to finalise a £10million deal for the 31-year old centre back who has just 18 months left on contract, and talks are advancing. Villa are working hard to find another defender too as they have Pau Torres out injured for eight weeks. Indeed, manager Unai Emery said only last week that he was relying on the experience of Carlos.
