Jonny Bairstow's participation at this year's Pakistan Super League is in limbo as the clock ticks down to Saturday's draft. Mail Sport understands that Bairstow, a centrally-contracted player who has nevertheless been frozen out by England since last June, is wanted by multiple PSL franchises and has therefore received a lucrative offer in excess of £200,000 from the competition's organisers. Yorkshire have also given their blessing for the 35-year-old to miss the opening weeks of the 2025 season alongside his county colleague Dawid Malan, who is on a white-ball deal at Headingley that includes supplementary County Championship appearance fees.
