Gillingham sacked manager Mark Bonner after a dismal run of form this season - and brutally announced his successor less than an hour later. The Gills were beaten 3-0 at home by Bromley on January 2, a third straight defeat in League Two, and are 14th in the table after this weekend's fixtures. The club confirmed Bonner's departure at 6pm on Sunday and announced John Coleman, the Accrington Stanley legend, as his replacement just 45 minutes later.
