The iconic media centre at Lord's is to be rebranded after the Home of Cricket signed a record-breaking new sponsorship deal with Barclays. Since opening in 1999, the unique design has won eight architectural awards and is now regarded as one of the most recognisable buildings in British sport. But courtesy of a deal struck by the MCC, owners of the historic ground situated in St John's Wood, London, the facility will now be known as the Barclays Media Centre after the bank became the new principal partner of Lord's.
