NBA legend Gus Williams dies aged 71

Former NBA point guard Gus Williams has died at the age of 71. He helped bring the only championship to the Seattle SuperSonics in 1979. A cause of death has yet to be revealed but Williams was living in a care facility in Baltimore after suffering a stroke in February 2020. The news was acknowledged by the Washington Wizards on X, as Williams played two seasons for the team when they were known as the Bullets.
