HBOThere's no shortage of doctor shows in Hollywood but HBO's The Pitt has a fresh take on the traditional hospital drama. Noah Wyle (of ER fame) returned to the emergency room as Dr. Michael Robby Robinavitch, who is easily the best doctor on shift. As emergency department chief, Robby's goal is to keep the ER running smoothly, but the first season takes place on a particularly hard day-the five-year death anniversary of former boss Montgomery Adamson who died of COVID-19.
