Ex-UFC star Cain Velasquez speaks out ahead of sentencing for 2022 attempted murder charge: 'I know what I did'
Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez is ready to face what awaits him as he is set to be sentenced on attempted murder, assault, and gun charges on March 24. Velasquez was arrested in 2022 during a car chase when he fired toward a vehicle where the man he accused of molesting his 4-year-old son was. Although the target, Harry Goularte, was not harmed, the bullet ended up hitting his stepfather.
