Justin Thomas raced off this course without saying a word on Thursday. He had shot 78 and his Players Championship campaign lay in tatters after a dismal collapse that saw him drop 10 shots in nine holes. Thankfully the fans weren't in such a hurry on Friday evening. Many stuck around to watch as the 2021 champion strung together one of the greatest rounds this tournament has ever seen.
