But before you hurry to label her money-hungry, let us inform you that he actually only pays £10 per week.
Speaking to comedians Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe on their podcast, Parenting Hell, Alison, 49, joked that she's reached a 'new level' with her teenager.
'He's paying rent!', she declared.
Rob then joked that Alison 'can't stop earning money', given her string of presenting gigs on ITV, such as taking over from the late Paul O'Grady as For the Love of Dogs host.

'I mean, it's not a lot of rent, I'll be honest with you,' she continued. '£10 a week.'
Rob and Josh burst into laughter, mocking that Aidan could afford to pay more after bagging himself DJ gigs at festivals.
'I actually love getting a bit of cash off him every month, £40,' Alison added.
As for what she spends the money on, well, she's got the right idea.
'I go and get my eyebrows done, go and get my nails done, cash, perfect.'
Rob then suggested Alison ups Aidan's rent to £50 so she could receive it in one crisp bank note.
'Oh, guess what he's done now? He's only gone an signed up to the football on Sky TV, and that's £30, but it's coming off my debit card!', Alison continued.
'So, I said to him, you've gotta put that £30 in now, so I'm gonna be getting, wait for it guys… £70!'
Aidan is now pursuing his passion for DJing (Picture: Instagram)
When quizzed on what happens if Aidan doesn't pay at the end of each month, Alison said she'll confront him with: 'Where's my money? I'm the landlady, I'm living here, you're 19, you have to pay your way.'
Thankfully, according to his famous mum, Aidan isn't 'funny' about paying rent but, well, for £10 a week, we wouldn't be complaining either.
The youngster also pays for his own food, having now finished sixth form and completing his mechanic apprenticeship.
'He wants to be a DJ now,' Alison shared on her son's career dreams. 'He says being a mechanic is just too dirty. DJing was always his passion.
'I said to him, in life, you should do something where you actually love it and you would do it for free. Then you'll never work a day in your life if you do something you love.'
Aidan may be new to the music scene, but he's already smashing it, working with the likes of Fat Tony.
The pair have always been incredibly close (Picture: Instagram)
She has maintained a very close bond with Aidan throughout his childhood, previously telling Hello! Magazine: 'Aidan is my twin who was born 30 years after me. Our personalities are very similar.
'I'm so proud of the kind young man he's turned into.'
Alison is now dating a 26-year-old model and dancer (Picture: Instagram)
She added that she's proud of 'the person he is' and 'how kind he is', describing Aidan as 'a lovely, chilled-out young man.'
'When other people come up to me and say, "Your son is so lovely", I think "Yes, I've done my job".'

The diss tracks have been flying for years but with the superstars dropping music so close to each other, it's no surprise fans are speculating over the feud.
Last month, Kendrick featured on Metro Boomin and Future's Euphoria which appears to be a direct response to Drake's 2023 song First Person Shooter.
In that track, J Cole directly mentioned 'Aubrey' — Drake's real name — and compared him to 'K-Dot', which is a nickname for Kendrick.
Keeping things deliciously messy, the Like That rapper shared new song 6:16 in LA, which many have taken as a swipe at his rival's penchant for timestamp titles.
Rubbing salt in the wound, the 36-year-old artist raps 'Have you ever thought that OVO was workin' for me?' in reference to Drake's label.

He goes on to call out a 'fake bully' who 'must be a terrible person', seemingly a barb aimed at the 37-year-old hitmaker.
'Everyone in your team is whispering that you deserve it,' Kendrick continues, before adding they 'can't Toosie Slide out of this one.'
As the duo seem to come to blows, fans are waiting to see who comes out king — the legendary rapper or the chart topping singer.
When did the Kendrick Lamar and Drake feud start?
Things appeared to be going well in 2011 when a young upstart named Drizzy made his way into the music scene.
He found chart success with album Thank Me Later before proving to critics he wasn't just a one hit wonder with follow up Take Care, featuring Kendrick.
On the Buried Alive Interlude, the HUMBLE rapper states: 'So blame it on Mr. OVOXO/ The reason why I'm breathin' all the vanity I know.'
The pair had originally been collaborators (Picture: Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images)
The relationship seemed to work well together as Kendrick returned as an opening act for Drake's Club Paradise Tour, alongside A$AP Rocky.
They teamed up just once more in 2012 for Poetic Justice on K.Dot's second album, scoring reasonable chart success in the US Billboard 100.
Unfortunately, things took a turn after the praise for Good Kid, M.A.A.D City and Kendrick turned on Drake as he featured on Big Sean's Control.
He boldly let his ego fly and rapped: 'I got love for you all, but I'm trying to murder you.'
The song then states he's trying to make them so irrelevant that 'core fans' have never heard of them and 'don't want to hear not one more noun or verb.'
Kendrick started firing shots at Champagne Papi after initial success (Picture: Arturo Holmes/MG23/Getty Images for The Met Museum/Vogue)
Drake was covering Billboard at the time of release and responded: 'I didn't really have anything to say about it. It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That's all it was.
'I know good and well that he's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.'
Kendrick starts dropping diss tracks
It seemed his verse on Control was just a taster of what Lamar had planned as he dropped Shook Ones which called Drake out for being 'fake' once more.
Kendrick rapped: 'Nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control'/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/ Ha ha joke's on you, high-five… I'm bulletproof/ Your shoots never penetrates/ Pin the tail on the donkey, boy you been a fake.'
At this point the God's Plan singer is being questioned relentlessly about his former collaborator as he tries to roll out his third album.
His track The Language fired back at Kendrick and all the drama, which was addressed during an interview for The Vibe.
Drake sighed: 'What am I supposed to say? Nah, we'll be buddy-buddy? Mind you, I never once said he's a bad guy [or] I don't like him.
'I think he's a f**king genius in his own right, but I also stood my ground as I should. And with that came another step, which then I have to realize I'm being baited and I'm not gonna fall.'
From this point onwards, the pair consistently took shots at one another over various diss tracks and jabs, fuelling each other's lyrical take downs.
Like That and re-ignition
October 2023 saw a big rekindling of this messy spat as Drake and Cole released First Person Shooter, where the latter referenced this ongoing feud.
This awoke something in Lamar who hit back with Like That, alongside Metro Boomin and Future, in March 2024.
'F**k sneak dissin', first-person shooter/ I hope they came with three switches,' K-Dot raps with a considerable amount of venom as he shoots his collaborators in the music video.
He goes on to demolish the 'big three' of the rap world — meaning himself, Drake, and Cole — as he states it's 'just big me'.
Referencing Drakes For All the Dogs album, for good measure he adds: 'For all your dogs gettin' buried/ That's a K with all these nines, he gon' see Pet Sematary.'
Drake had addressed the track while on stage in Florida for his tour as he said: 'A lot of people asking me how I'm feeling. I'mma let you know how I'm feeling.
Kendrick released Like That and took shots at Drake (Picture: Samir Hussein/WireImage)
'Listen, the way I'm feeling is the same way I want you to walk out of here feeling tonight about your f**king self. Because you know how I'm feeling? I got my f**king head up high, my back straight, I'm 10 f**king toes down in Florida or anywhere else I go, and I know that no matter what, there's not a n***a on this earth that could ever f**k with me in my life.'
Things remained calm until last month when he then released his diss track Push Ups firing back at Kendrick.
Briefly his song 'Taylor Made Freestyle', taking aim at his rival's decision to work with Taylor Swift as well as other popstars, appeared on socials.
The song was later taken down as Tupac's estate threatened to sue over the usage of A.I. vocals to rap in the voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg.
Family Matters and 6:16 in LA
Things really exploded after April's spat as Lamar dropped a six minute diss track laying into his former collaborator.
Euphoria was a tirade of abuse hurled at Drake, questioning everything from his use of the n-word to his fashion sense and of course his hip-hop abilities.
Drake hit back with Family Matters after 6:16 in LA (Picture: Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP, File)
Less than 72 hours later, 6:16 in LA dropped and took even more personal shots at the One Dance singer as he criticised OVO label and his prowess as a business man.
At this point Drake hit back with Family Matters, which included lyrics: 'I've emptied the clip over friendlier jabs/ You mentioned my seed, now deal with his dad'
In more barbed lines, he added Kendrick was 'beggin' for attention' and should just 'say please' before taking shots at his 'make believe' activism.
One particularly controversial line is aimed at Kendrick's 'wife', meaning his fiancée Whitney Alford for being 'a mixed queen'.
This appears to have been breaking point for the Pulitzer Prize winning musician who released Meet the Grahams mere hours after Drake.
There can be no denying the direct shots hurled at the Passionfruit rapper as his real name is Aubrey Graham.
Opening the song, Lamar raps: 'Dear Adonis, I'm sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest/ It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive/ I look at him and wish your grandpa woulda wore a condom/ I'm sorry that you gotta grow up and then stand behind him.'
Adonis is the name of Drake's 6-year-old son who he shares with model Sophie Brussaux and confirmed the birth of on 2018's Scorpion.
In the song Kendrick also claims that the four-time Grammy winner has a secret daughter as the third verse kicks off 'Dear babygirl/ I'm sorry that your father not active inside your world.'
Drake hit back at claims about a secret daughter (Picture: Drake/Instagram)
Drake immediately denied this and shared a selfie to his Instagram Story captioned: 'Nahhh hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me…these guys are in shambles.'
In the final verse, Kendrick raps directly to 'Aubrey' and makes jabs at gambling addiction and money problems.
He comments on Drake's love life and claimed: 'You a body shamer, you gon' hide them baby mamas, ain't ya?'
Closing, Kendrick lists everything he thinks his former collaborator has 'lied' about, including more secret children which Drake denies.
The pair have not directly addressed each other publicly but this explosion could force a peace treaty discussion soon between these hip-hop icons.

Kevin Spacey speaks out against Channel 4 documentary in first interview in 7 years | 79OOR2B | 2024-05-04 21:08:01

Disgraced star Kevin Spacey has hit back at a series of new allegations which have emerged ahead of a new Channel 4 documentary next week.
The Oscar-winning star of The Usual Suspects and American Beauty, Spacey was one of the most celebrated faces in Hollywood when allegations of sexual misconduct were first made against him in 2017.
In the wake of these claims, streaming giant Netflix cut all ties with the actor -writing him out of his signature TV series, House of Cards. He was also excised from the movie All The Money In The World, in which his scenes were re-shot, replacing him with Christopher Plummer.
Last year, the actor was acquitted of the sexual offences alleged by four men between 2001 and 2013. He also won a US civil lawsuit in October 2022 after being accused of making unwanted sexual advances at a party in 1986.
The upcoming two-part documentary Spacey Unmasked is said to feature further testimony from ten alleged victims, regarding – according to the actor – 'events they say took place between 1976 and 2013, and relate to what they describe as unwanted sexual behaviour.'
The actor has denied these new allegations, appearing in a new interview with former GB News presenter Dan Wootton titled Kevin Spacey: Right Of Reply.
Spacey rose to fame in such movies as American Beauty and The Life of David Gale (Picture: Shutterstock)
In this, his first interview in seven years, Spacey speaks out against the documentary and its claimants.
'I take full responsibility for my past behaviour and my actions, but I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologise to anyone who's made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me,' Spacey said.
I've never told someone that if they give me sexual favours, then I will help them out with their career, never.
I've clearly hooked up with some men who thought they might get ahead in their careers by having a relationship with me.'
But there was no conversation with me, it was all part of their plan, a plan that was always destined to fail, because I wasn't in on the deal,' he continued.

Spacey went on to deny any accusations of illegal behaviour. 'Were there times when I would flirt with some of the people who were involved in those programmes who were in their 20s? Yes,' he said.
Did I ever hook up with another actor? Yes. Did I make a clumsy pass at someone who wasn't interested as it turned out? Yes.'
But I was not employing them, I was not their boss, I was oftentimes just swimming in for an hour here or there as a well-known actor to lend support… to answer questions,' Spacey continued.
Allegations about Spacey's misbehaviour led to his being fired from House of Cards (Picture: Netflix)
'That may not have been the best decision and it is not one that I would do today, but it happened.
It wasn't illegal, and nor has it ever been alleged to have been illegal.'
Even if it would've happened, it's the type of occurrence that when I was in my 20's, it would have been simply embarrassing – but not criminal,' he finished.
The actor has denied all allegations (Picture: EPA)
On the subject of the upcoming documentary, Spacey appeared to grow emotional, saying: 'I can't go through this again, allowing myself to be baselessly attacked without defending myself.'
He said that he 'repeatedly requested' that Channel 4 give him more than seven days to respond to the allegations made about him – but claims that the broadcaster refused.
Spacey Unmasked will air on May 6 and May 7 on Channel 4.

Netflix viewers threaten to cancel their memberships ahead of basic plan scrapping | 79OOR2B | 2024-05-04 21:08:01
Netflix are making some big changes to their subscription scheme (Picture: Shutterstock)
Outraged Netflix viewers are threatening to cancel their memberships over a sudden change to its basic package – which will leave users unable to opt out of ads.
A mass email to customers explained that Netflix will be ending their basic ad-free subscription in the UK and Canada later this year.
Customers who continue with the basic plan will automatically be enrolled on the company's lowest tier – which includes advertisements inserted into TV shows and movies.
In July 2023, Netflix announced that its basic £7.99-a-month ad-free plan would no longer be available to subscribers, introducing a price tier system that allowed viewers to opt out of adverts.
While those paying a little bit more had been able to opt out of receiving advertising during their viewing experience, this won't remain the case for long.
Viewers will have to endure more ads to get their fix of shows such as Baby Reindeer (Picture: Netflix)
How much is a basic subscription?
A basic subscription without adverts is currently £7.99 in the UK. Under the new system, viewers will be saving more money – now paying £4.99 for the cheapest service.
To sweeten the pill, Netflix announced that the 720p video quality basic viewers currently enjoy will be upgraded to HD across the board.
This means that the streamer's slate of TV and movies will look better – but so will the adverts crowbarred into the viewing experience.

When is Netflix's basic plan ending?
Unsurprisingly, it all comes down to money – the streaming giant is estimated to have generated $1billion (£797million) from advertising revenue this year; a whopping 50% more than it made in 2023, according to Reuters.
The email also advised subscribers that they could upgrade to the standard subscription, at a cost of £10.99 a month – which allows viewers to watch on multiple devices at a time.
Meanwhile, the £17.99 premium plan lets fans see their ads in Ultra HD, on four devices at a time.
Viewers have had plenty to say about Netflix's plans (Picture: Netflix)
These changes have left users fuming, with many threatening to cancel their membership altogether.
'Dumb move because I'll just cancel any service that starts overcharging or forces ads,' wrote the user @Oberje, on X.
'People don't like ads. It's why I stopped watching YouTube. It's why I cancelled Prime Video. It's why I will soon cancel Netflix. Find a better way to sell products,' said @BLU3JAY3.
'Just cancelled my Netflix subscription for the first time since I subscribed in 2012, I got locked into a £4.99 basic plan which never rose, until this week when they've decided to add adverts to my tier,' said @BadgerSpanner.

Raucous WWE fans spark arena safety concerns during 'insane' show | 79OOR2B | 2024-05-04 21:08:01
The audience took things to an extreme on Friday night (Picture: WWE/Getty Images)
WWE fans in Lyon took things to another level and risked caused literal damage to themselves in the process.
The sports entertainment giant is in France for this weekend's Backlash premium live event, and on the eve of that show SmackDown took over the LDLC Arena with a preview of things to come.
The live crowd was off the charts, singing from the arrival of the French announce team – legends to many who grew up watching wrestling in the European country – until Cody Rhodes' speech after the show went off the air.
Viewers around the world were in awe of the passion, and it turns out the reaction was justified as boss Paul 'Triple H' Levesque revealed that fans in the building had received a genuine warning about the noise levels.
'The @WWEUniverse in France literally received a warning about the noise level tonight at #SmackDown @LDLC_Arena. Absolutely insane,' he wrote alongside a screenshot of someone's smartwatch with the warning.
Translated from French, it read: 'Noisy environment. The sound level reaches 100 db. Exposure of just a few minutes at this level can cause temporary hearing loss.'
Fans were given a warning (Picture: WWE/Getty Images)The live crowd was off the charts (Picture: WWE/Getty Images)
Not surprisingly, Triple H was proud of the atmosphere, and quoted his friends in Motorhead to praise the fans for the raucous environment they created.
He added: 'Like @myMotorhead said… "Only way to feel the noise is when it's good and loud.'
SmackDown ended with Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles facing off 24 hours before they clash in the ring for the American Nightmare's Undisputed WWE Championship.
The audience roared their approval for both men, with plenty of singing and dancing in the stands, to the point Cody appeared rattled at one point and couldn't hear what was happening in the ring.
'I'm hoping that airs in the US just because it was so much fun – never before have I not been able to hear myself or somebody in the ring during an interview 🎤,' he tweeted. 'Beautiful #SmackDown'
It was a special night, with the likes of New Catch Republic – the UK's own Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne – getting huge reactions alongside the likes of Naomi, Bayley, Jey Uso and more.
It's a big weekend for WWE too, as the show became the highest-grossing SmackDown TV in company history, breaking the recent record set in Philadelphia over WrestleMania weekend.
Tune into Backlash France this evening at 6pm on the WWE Network.

Britney Spears' new diet isn't 'sustainable' – she needs a 'realistic way' to deal with 'teenage trauma around food' | E9Q18H7 | 2024-05-04 20:08:02
BRITNEY Spears has never shielded away from showing off her curves or revealing the measures she has taken to get her world-famous figure in shape.
A celebrity dietician has urged the Toxic hitmaker to reconsider her latest diet regimen, which involves unsustainable "16-hour fasts," and find a regular pattern.

Britney Spears' new diet isn't 'sustainable' – she needs a 'realistic way' to deal with 'teenage trauma around food'Instagram/britneyspearsA dietician told The U.S. Sun that Britney (seen here in March) may have trauma around her relationship with food[/caption]
Britney shared photos on Instagram in March where she posed on a tropical beach.
The mega star's private parts were covered with emojis in one photo on March 27.
Britney was otherwise nude, grabbing her breasts as she sat in the ocean.
The photo drop came within days of revealing she had turned to a new diet.
Britney's March 15 post included a photo of a book on intermittent fasting by Stephen Harrod Buhner.
"I actually feel a little too tiny and weak to even think about shooting for Instagram right now!!! But honestly, I like this spiritual dimension I'm on," she wrote.
"It's purification in its utmost way and to go into your body and mind to find your most enlightened state of consciousness seems so rad!!!" Britney added to her post.
But Kim Shapira, M.S., R.D. has expressed doubts that intermittent fasting is the best plan.
She urged Britney to find a "healthy long-term approach" to food.
"I love that Britney Spears is inspired to become curious about her mind, body, spiritual life, and practices," Shapira told The U.S. Sun.
<!--End ofBrightcovePlayer-->
"I hope she finds a way to have a more realistic and healthy relationship with food and a long-term approach.
"When people go through something traumatic, they can develop a new trigger.
"When we become emotionally triggered, our rational mind becomes irrational.
"I have weak eyes and stress and asthma and headaches. So this chart has helped me so much with those problems …. and my weight!!!" she wrote on Instagram.
By 2021, Britney moved toward portion control. She told fans she felt better.
"No… I didn't follow through with the ice cream diet. I chose portion control, which is very hard when it comes to Doritos! On a positive note, my body feels way better now." she said.
Intermittent fasting involves an eating pattern that cycles between periods of eating and fasting.
Shapira, who has not treated or worked with Britney, claimed this diet was unsustainable.

Britney started a portion-control diet in 2021, which she claimed was difficult[/caption]
OUT OF HOURS
"This diet does not recommend foods that should or should not be eaten," she said.
"Some typical cycles involve fasting for 16 hours or more, with a window of 8 hours or less for eating.
"This diet trend has gained popularity because it has the potential to provide health benefits.
"These include increased metabolic function, weight loss, and brain health.
When Britney's autobiography, The Woman in Me, hit the shelves, she said Jamie had allowed her to eat "almost nothing but chicken and canned vegetables."
She said the control of her food intake occurred over two years.
"No matter how much I dieted and exercised, my father was always telling me I was fat. He put me on a strict diet. The irony was that we had a butler — an extravagance — and I would beg him for real food," she said.
Shapira, author of This Is What You're Really Hungry For, said Britney would have felt shame and persecution had Jamie restricted her diet.

Britney may have felt confused in the past about her fathers comments about food, said an expert[/caption]
'
RISK & RESTRICT
"I have never treated Britney, but I would imagine if a parent makes these comments, it would be confusing," she said.
"The comments might fill a person with shame and, ultimately, persecution.
"If food is restricted, our basic survival is at risk.

"I am excited for Britney to recognize she is more than those messages she might have received.

UNCONTROLLED
Britney's life has been dogged by difficulty since she shot to fame as a child star in the late '90s.

"Our bodies need fuel and rely on blood sugar to function, and they thrive when we are consistent.
"Eating a small amount and as much as you need every couple of hours, trusting that there will be more later, would be considered consistent.
"Skipping meals, ignoring signals, or under-eating would be considered inconsistent.

"Our bodies would be in the middle of a feast or famine, and we hold on to calories to conserve and protect ourselves.
"I admire Britney for wanting to ground herself in her relationship with food and be curious about how food affects her mentally, physically, and spiritually.
"I am personally cheering for that side."
