"Shakira is one of the most incredible artists to ever grace the planet. Her dedication to her craft, to her fans and her love for life is truly inspiring," the Emily in Paris actor, 31, told Us on Friday, May 3, while promoting his partnership with Smirnoff ICE SURPR-ICE. "She's one of the most beautiful, hard-working people I've ever met."
Us confirmed last month that Shakira and Laviscount were "casually" dating after they met on the set of her "Puntería" music video. According to Laviscount, his casting in "Puntería" happened "pretty quick" while he was filming for Emily in Paris season 4.
"I remember getting the call saying that there was some interest in me being a part of the video," he told Us. "I was shooting Emily in Paris at the time but we managed to figure out the dates and I was on the next flight out to Miami."
The British-born Laviscount explained that even before the music video he had been "dreaming" of visiting Miami since he was a kid. "Miami is all about the people, the culture, the vibe. I was rapping along to 'Welcome To Miami' when I was a kid, dreaming of this place. It never disappoints," he said.
He was back in Miami on Saturday, May 4, amid the F1 Grand Prix weekend. He was at Biscayne Bay for the Smirnoff ICE SURPR-ICE event, giving out ICE — the kind you can drink, the kind that melts and the kind that blings.

Laviscount said the drink feels like a throwback to carefree warmer months. "Smirnoff ICE is summer in a bottle, it's nostalgia," he told Us.
Nowadays, Laviscount says he considers himself a low-maintenance vacationer. "I'm more low-key, take me back to Antigua with my people and let the good times roll," he told Us.
The actor tries to make sure to take time to kick back even with his career on the rise. "The key for me is balance, balance in everything," he said, adding, "I'd say my lifestyle in general is healthy, I love keeping active and getting out there trying new things. It's difficult with work commitments and traveling to always be eating right and having that structure to be as disciplined as I would like. So it's important to give myself grace and enjoy the journey."
As for his acting career, Laviscount admitted that he'd like to expand his horizons to new genres after Emily in Paris. "I feel so grateful to have been able to bring Alfie to life on screen," he said of his Emily in Paris character.

This brawl after the ball is one pop culture fans will never forget.
Beyoncé,Jay-Zand Solange Knowles' infamous argument at a Met Gala afterparty occurred on May 5, 2014, and quickly became the hottest topic in entertainment. Fans couldn't believe the footage released from TMZ, which showed Jay-Z, now 54, arguing with his sister-in-law in the elevator at the Standard Hotel. At one point, the surveillance video captured Solange, 37, hitting and kicking the rapper while Beyoncé, 42, silently stood by.
A night that was supposed to be about epic fashion and fundraising for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's various programs quickly turned into a saga involving one of music's most successful families.
"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the trio told the Associated Press in a statement days after the story broke. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
Ten years after the drama occurred, Us Weekly is looking back on the night in question and revealing where the parties stand today.
What Really Happened in the Elevator?
There were no signs of family turmoil on the Met Gala red carpet. Solange arrived on the arm of designer Phillip Lim, whose dress she wore to the star-studded soirée. While Bey and Jay arrived fashionably late to the museum, they happily posed for photos before being escorted into the event.
The fun continued at the Met Gala afterparty held at the Boom Boom Room inside the Standard Hotel. Bey and Solange hit the dance floor with Naomi Campbell, while Jay "hung back at one of the fireplace areas," an eyewitness told Us Weekly at the time. The same insider, however, mentioned that the trio "did abruptly leave."
Everything changed when Bey first stepped into the elevator, as her younger sister, husband and another man trailed behind. Solange slowly cornered her brother-in-law before getting physical. While Solange threw punches and kicks in his direction, a man immediately reacted by hitting the emergency stop switch in the elevator and proceeded to subdue her.
After the incident, the trio released a joint statement saying they had apologized to one another and were moving forward.

In the months following the Met Gala incident, the power couple faced rumors that their marriage was on the rocks. But in August 2014, the pair put on a united front when Jay presented his wife with the MTV Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The couple went on to collaborate on albums and tours together. They also cheered for each other during major career moments like Bey's Super Bowl performance in 2016. In April 2023, they marked a milestone in their relationship by celebrating 15 years of marriage.

Any and all elevator drama is old news for these fierce sisters. The duo has continued to support each other's careers and family life long after any Met Gala incident.
"I'm your biggest fan and I'm super proud of you," Bey told her sister as she interviewed her for Interviewmagazinein 2017. "I remember thinking, 'My little sister is going to be something super special,' because you always seemed to know what you wanted."

Solange returned the favor when she shared kind words about her older sister. "You were the most patient, loving, wonderful sister ever," she said in the same interview. "In the 30 years that we've been together, I think we've only really, like, butted heads … we can count on one hand."

Whatever bad blood the duo shared appears to be forgotten. Months after the incident, Jay attended Solange's November 2014 wedding to Alan Ferguson in New Orleans.

Three years later, Jay provided a glimpse into the unbreakable bond with his sister-in-law. "We had one disagreement ever. Before and after we've been cool," the rapper said in an August 2017 "Rap Radar" podcast episode. "She's like my sister. I will protect her. That's my sister, not my sister-in-law. My sister. Period."
Has Beyoncé Referenced the Saga in Her Lyrics?
In the years since the incident, Bey has gone on to release several albums, including Everything Is Love with Jay. While some fans believe her 2016 album, Lemonade, is about marriage struggles she once faced with her husband, the elevator incident appeared to be referenced in a couple of songs.
While listening to "Cozy" on the 2022 album Renaissance, some fans were intrigued by the lyrics: "Might I suggest you don't f–k with my sis / 'Cause she comfortable."
Bey also seemingly addressed the elevator incident when releasing the "Flawless" remix in 2014. "We escalate, up in this bitch like elevators," Bey sings. "Of course sometimes s–t go down when it's a billion dollars on the elevator."
"Sam will always have a soft spot for Britney and will always be protective over her," a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, adding that the situation is "heartbreaking" to Asghari. "Sam is a helper and was there for her in her hardest times. He hopes she is OK."
Asghari, 30, and Spears, 42, were together for a total of seven years, and he filed for divorce in August 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" after 14 months of marriage. The pair finalized their divorce on Thursday, May 2, Us Weekly confirmed.
Although the exes "don't communicate anymore," Asghari found the situation at Chateau Marmont "definitely worrisome" after officers were called to the scene on Thursday.
"Sam has been down this road with Britney before and knows how she is," the source continues, noting that Asghari "feels terrible if she is not surrounded by positive people in her life."
Despite their uncoupling, Asghari "will always wish [Spears] the best and would be there for her if she needed him."
The same day their divorce was finalized, Spears sparked concern for her health when she was photographed coming out of Chateau Marmont wearing pajama bottoms and wrapped in a blanket while clutching a pillow.
"She rolled her ankle walking down the stairs so they treated the ankle. She's fine," a separate source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time.
The second source noted Spears' on-again, off-again boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, was also at the hotel having dinner with his son and visited the singer in her room.
"Britney was upset when Paul was trying to leave the hotel after visiting her room," the second source said. "They did not have an argument but Britney was upset. There were no cuts and no scratches from her fall."
Other sources have told Us that those closest to Spears are worried about her relationship with Richard Soliz, with one insider saying they want him "out of the picture." Another insider noted that Asghari was good for Spears. "Sam is a very structured person and would work out and eat well and it was hard for her to adapt to all of it, but she needed someone like him," the source said. "He provided good structure."
Spears released a statement via social media on Thursday, posting two similar messages before and after news broke of the incident.
"Most of the pics are body doubles and I think most know that!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday [sic]!!!" she wrote alongside a since-deleted Instagram pic of a male shirtless model. "Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie???"
She continued, "Goddesses out there, I'm reaching my higher power, and furthermore, I hope you guys are too!!! I need a new toothbrush right now!!! PS … I need an espresso!!! PSS … Not sure why I feel the need to share this … I guess I'm just a girl and I'm on my period so I'm bitchy … s–t !!!"
After deleting her initial post, she posted another message explaining, "[I] twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally." She added, "They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I'm moving to Boston !!! Peace."
Asghari has not publicly responded to the incident, but he posted a shirtless photo via Instagram on Thursday.

Travis Kelce has always been ready for a high-profile romance like the one he has with Taylor Swift, thanks to his mentality about shaking off bullies on social media and in real life.
"Social media is the ultimate practice in terms of your self-esteem. Social media always wins. It is undefeated. It will murder you at the lowest moments of your life," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, began in a resurfaced interview clip via X.
Noting that he's experienced his fair share of hate on various platforms – especially as one of the most closely watched players in the NFL – Kelce explained why he's able to keep his head up despite the negativity he sometimes receives.
"You can laugh about it because that person – who is that person? They don't matter," he continued. "I could care less about what that person says. I could care less about who reads about what that person said. You just have to have that mindset of, 'Who cares?'"
When asked if blocking out the negative comments was something that can be learned or if it was in his DNA, Kelce replied, "It's definitely something you can learn. Without a doubt, it's something you can learn."
He added, "What it comes down to is just grasping the idea of, 'They're doing it to get that attention because there's something going on over there.' And if you ever get yourself caught in that, the bullying or just being attacked over some silly reason or any reason, just ask [the person], 'Is everything going on alright in your life?'"

Kelce's longtime mindset about not listening to people he doesn't know or hold in high regard appears to mimic dad Ed Kelce's mentality.
After Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankelcriticized his son's relationship with the 14-time Grammy Award winner in February, Ed took to his Facebook page to respond to her comments.

Swift has also been outspoken about ignoring the hate she's received when it comes to her relationship with the three-time Super Bowl champion – especially when she's in the crowd at his games. (Over the course of the 2023-2024 season, Swift attended 13 of Kelce's Chiefs games. Kelce also defended Swift being booed at a December game against the Patriots.)
"There's a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don't know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don't know if I'm being shown 17 times or once," she said in her 2023 TIME Magazine Person of the Year profile. "I'm just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads."

After a rocky six months at the North West side, Skelmersdale announced the departure of Pascal on their social media page.
The club released a statement which said: "On behalf of everyone at Skelmersdale United FC, the club would like to place on record its gratitude to Pascal for all his efforts during his time with the club.
"Pascal joined the club when it was rooted to the bottom of the table, with the aim to resurrect the club's fortunes.
"And whilst there were many memories during his six-month tenure, it didn't quite work out the way either party had anticipated.
"As such the club believe it's time to regroup and seek a new appointment."
Chimbonda was unable to turn things around at the Lancashire club with only eight wins in 34 games.
And the club were relegated from the North West Counties Football League Premier Division after finishing bottom of the table.

But he left behind a professional football career in the third division at 21 to instead focus on MMA.
Now he is one of Germany's top fighters and secured the biggest win of his career against Miroslav Broz in his home of Frankfurt.
Eckerlin completely dominated Broz in the opening round of the Oktagon 57 main-event.
And in the second, he closed the show with some brutal ground and pound which left Broz drenched in blood.
The roof of the Festhalle Frankfurt almost blew off as the home fans went wild for the footballer-turned-fighter.
And it is just a sign of things to come following the announcement that Eckerlin will feature at Oktagon's October 12 show in an all-German showdown.
He will headline against Christian Jungwirth at Frankfurt's 58,000-seat stadium following his victory over Broz.
Eckerlin never got to play at his beloved Frankfurt as a player – but instead he will get his dream fight there.

He told SunSport in Frankfurt: "For me, it's a big dream come true.
"I was a soccer player and always wanted to play for Eintracht Frankfurt in the stadium. I think the first game that I saw, I was six.
