And seemingly keen to promote his daytime TV career enterprise, Smith proceeded to plug his upcoming Basic Hospital look.
Stephen A. stated, "As we speak, ABC, Basic Hospital. Brick returns. At the moment and tomorrow I'll be on Common Hospital."
An exasperated Qerim had been trying to go to business break for a number of minutes.
She finally snapped, sighing, "Truthfully, I don't receives a commission sufficient.
"I literally do not get paid enough. You're so cringe and uncontrolled."
Before Christmas, Stephen A. claimed that he was getting a new "love interest" for Brick's character.
Molly added, "Have you received your love scene but or are you still a mobster?"
A grinning Stephen A. replied, "Still a mobster, but that love scene. It's coming."
Orlovskly tentatively requested, "Is there a kiss?"
Quick as a flash, Smith joked, "More than that. Take notes Dan. Take notes."
Earlier on Thursday's show, Stephen A. had called out Orlovsky for being "late" to his desk.
The former NFL quarterback had just completed filming Get Up, which is broadcast from the same studio.
First Take airs each weekday from 10 am ET on ESPN.
