Rosenborg's clash with Lillestrom was abandoned on Sunday after fans made their feelings known about VAR. There were four anti-VAR protests inside the first 30 minutes with both sets of supporters throwing tennis balls, flares and even fish cakes before the game was called off. Rosenborg's ultras chucked tennis balls onto the pitch which forced the players to exit the pitch under new rules. They then held up a banner which read: 'we will never give up, VAR will go away'.
