David Pleat is back in football at the age of 80 after landing a scouting role with Celtic. Mail Sport can reveal that the former Tottenham manager will work for the Scottish champions by watching games and players in England. He has been brought in by Celtic's head of football operations Paul Tisdale, the former Exeter boss. The agreement will run for the next 12 months at least. Pleat celebrated his 80th birthday this week and still has a vast and invaluable knowledge of the game.
