A girls' high-school basketball player in Washington is being investigated for harassment and bullying by her school district after refusing to play against a transgender opponent. Tumwater High School student Frances Staudt, 15, claims to have noticed during warmups before their fixture against Shelton High School that a member of the opposing team had a biological male on its roster. Yet despite both the principal and athletic director of Tumwater confirming that the player in question - Shelton High School senior Andi Rooks - was a biological male, Staudt's request for them to be removed from the game was allegedly rejected over fears of 'discrimination'.
