A portion of NFL fans on social media are unhappy with Travis Kelce's decision to return to the league as it means another season of broadcasts referencing and showing his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Kelce officially announced he will not be retiring on Thursday after the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month. The tight end's future had been much speculated due to his age and skyrocketing public profile, much thanks to Swift being on his arm since September 2023.
