Soccer Star Sydney Leroux Announces Break to 'Focus on My Mental Health'
Sydney Leroux is taking a step back from soccer for the time being to focus on her mental health. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to say or admit to myself. But after a lot of reflection, I've made the difficult decision to stay away from soccer for my mental health, Leroux, 34, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, March 16. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a fighter-I always have been.
