The shock UFC fighter who dropped Jon Jones in sparring revealed
Jon Jones was once dropped by a unknown MMA fighter during sparring, a former team-mate of the UFC heavyweight champion has claimed. Jones has suffered just one defeat in his illustrious career when he was disqualified against Matt Hamill for utilising illegal 12-6 elbows, a move that has since been removed from the sport's list of banned techniques. Other than the solitary blemish on his record Jones has been largely dominant inside the Octagon, with a contentious decision win over Dominick Reyes in 2020 representing arguably his most competitive fight.
