Chargers get major injury square as quarterback Justin Herbert misses practice with ankle issue
The Los Angeles Chargers' playoff push hit a speedbump Wednesday as quarterback Justin Herbert missed practice due to the left ankle sprain he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. What's more, Herbert told reporters, the fifth-year starter is also battling a left leg contusion as well as some swelling in his left knee. Herbert said he suffered the ankle sprain while scrambling in the first half of Sunday's loss but continued to play through the injury.
