Olivia Carter and Michael Penix Jr. Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. announced his engagement to Olivia Carter days after his first career start. Penix Jr., 24, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the proposal set-up via Instagram on Sunday, December 30. In the video, Penix Jr. was seen surprising Carter with a bouquet of roses before getting down on one knee. The words, Marry Me, were written in giant red block letters beside a collection of red roses and candles.
