Driver in Crash That Killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau Faces New Charges
Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau The New Jersey man accused of killing NHL player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew Gaudreau, faces additional charges after the fatal August 2024 accident. Sean M. Higgins faces a slew of criminal charges, including aggravated manslaughter, brought by a grand jury on Wednesday, December 10, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Higgins, 44, is already facing two counts of vehicular homicide. The brothers were struck and killed while riding in Oldmans Township, New Jersey, on the evening of Thursday, August 29-the night before their sister's wedding.
