Nancy Meyers Nancy Meyers broke her silence after her ex-husband, fellow director Charles Shyer, died at the age of 83. Charles Shyer 1941-2024 , Meyers, 75, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, December 29, alongside two throwback photos from an unidentified movie set. Meyers and Shyer were married between 1980 and 1999.
