Kevin Nolan has returned to management after being named as the next Northampton Town head coach. The West Ham legend was previously sacked as Notts County manager six years ago but has now agreed a two-year deal to return to the EFL with Northampton. The Cobblers have moved quick to appoint Nolan with the club languishing in the League One relegation zone and having parted ways with former boss Jon Brady earlier in the month.
