Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard has suffered a blow with a star informing the club that he wants to leave. The player, who previously featured in the Premier League, is eager to depart the Saudi Arabian club in the January transfer window. Gerrard has been in charge of Al-Ettifaq since July 2023, having previously had spells as manager of Rangers and Aston Villa.
