He claimed that before the quotation was issued, there were no "No Parking" indicators to be seen, though the ticket virtually had him convinced it was from the town.

Upon closer inspection, he found that the Seaside City Council issued the ticket.

The Seaside City Council is the HOA that governs a handful of homes inside the group.

"Whenever you take a look at the wording, [the association tried] to word it in a strategy to make it seem like it was issued by the Walton County Sheriff's Office," he stated.

"And, in reality, it wasn't."

Corey Dobridnia, the Public Affairs Coordinator for the Walton County Sheriff's Department, stated that the council issues tickets inside the group.

The road that Waldrip parked on was privately owned by the council.

Luckily for Waldrip, it was also confirmed that the quotation, regardless of wanting like it got here from the town, would haven't any authorized penalties if left unpaid.

"That is something that Seaside issues themselves," Dobridnia stated.

"It gained't have an effect on their license."

"That is simply land house owners issuing citations principally," stated Waldrip.

"They've achieved all they will do to make it seem like it was a authorized doc, however in reality, it's just a piece of paper."

Waldrip was cautious sufficient to examine the citation and find that a personal company issued it, though he worries that different visitors is probably not as eager and pay for it.

The Walton County Sheriff's Department stated that any authorized questions on citations locally may be directed to them.
